Mass-Loaded Vinyl
This is a reinforced, barium sulfate
loaded vinyl, evenly coated on both sides. The result is a lead free, dense,
highly flexible sound barrier. Rugged, flame-resistant, impervious to oils and
most chemicals; will not sag or rot; wipes clean. 6-12dBa reduction, depending
on noise source. Polyester cord reinforcement makes material virtually
tear-proof. Metallic gray color enhances area illumination for attractive
appearance and energy efficiency.

Transparent Vinyl
This non-reinforced vinyl transparent
acoustic barrier material is recommended where observation or supervision is
desired. Transparent noise panels can be used exclusively, or interspersed with
opaque noise panels materials to form "window" sections.
For sound control between work areas, this
material is also an ideal divider curtain. It allows good view of traffic flow
in and out of an area, helping to avoid collisions. also available in Bronze
Tint (SC 195) for welding supervision, and in strip form.

Rugged Transparent vinyl, specially formulated to block light at
harmful wavelengths. Dark gray shade keeps flash from distracting nearby
workers. Orange shade provides excellent visibility, block blue light.
Contains UV inhibitor. |

| NOTE:
| Transparent welding curtains are intended
for intermittent viewing. Filtra Orange, Smoke Gray, Green and Blue curtains
are optically safe when the observer is outside the barrier, at least ten feet
from the welding, and observes for only several minutes at a time. Although
Amber Yellow curtains are popular because they offer the best visibility, they
are less effective at blocking high intensity blue light and therefore should
only be used for momentary viewing. Proper eye protection should always be
worn when viewing for prolonged periods.

Composite Noise Curtains
Most noise problems are controlled best by
a combination of barriers and absorbers. The barrier is used to enclose the
noise, and the absorber material on the inside of the enclosures controls
reverberation, thereby increasing its overall effectiveness. Most noise curtain
enclosures are installed without roofs to take advantage of existing lighting,
ventilation and fire protection systems. It is particularly effective to use
absorption on the interior of noise curtain enclosures if the front is to remain
open.
SOUND STOPPER composite noise curtains are
manufactured in two standard forms. Accordion-fold curtains are used where
frequent access is required. The absorber material is affixes to the barrier in
vertical strips so the curtain folds easily on a GLIDE WALL track and roller
system. Modular curtains are semi-flexible, and are used where access is less
frequently required.

All SOUND STOPPER Curtains hade a
2" reinforcement strip double sewn across the top hem, with solid brass
hanging grommets. Nylon thread is used exclusively for all hems and seams.
Accordion-Fold Curtains are made to
the exact height and width desired and are priced by the square foot. Standard grommets
top edge, 12" O.C.
Modular Curtains as the name
implies, are made in standard modular sizes, and are ordered to the exact height
desired. Standard Grommets top Edge, 12" O.C. and 2" wide Velcro
fastening system on edges. As a rule of thumb, Modular curtains are less expensive
than Accordion- Fold curtains on a comparable area basis..
